The Outdoor Wisconsin Leadership School (OWLS) program is located on the beautiful, lakefront property of Holiday Home Camp in Williams Bay, WI., close to Milwaukee, Chicago and Northern Suburbs, Rockford, and Madison. With over 30 years of experience and more than 3,000 participants per year, OWLS is one of the leading providers of challenge course adventure education experiences in the Midwest. Offering custom designed experiences; participants come to OWLS as a means of achieving personal and team growth in areas such as leadership, goal setting, communication, conflict resolution, creativity, trust-building, and problem solving. In addition, many other recreation, outdoor education, and evening activities are available as well.
Holiday Home Camp, a non-profit organization, was established in 1887 by Chicago industrialists as part of the Lake Geneva Fresh Air Association and remains one of the oldest accredited camps in the country still operating in its original location. Throughout a typical summer, Holiday Home Camp provides age-appropriate six and eight day camp sessions that serve over 500 youth (2nd - 12th grades) from economically disadvantaged communities. Proceeds from OWLS programs benefit those youth who might not otherwise be able to come to camp.
